JULIUS H. HENLINE

    Julius H. Henline was born January 12, 1985.  He was the son of James and Rachel Carpenter Henline.  He married Cordelia Buchanan and they had eight children: Walter, Paul, Sam, Arthur, Belle H. Williams, Ruth H. Young, Martha Henline and Clara H. Harris.
    He was ordained as a Baptist Minister on July 10, 1921 at the request of Beaver Creek Baptist Church.  He Served the Ministry for God 41 years.  He served as pastor for fifty or more churches in Avery, Mitchell, Yancey and McDowell Counties and Washington County in Tennessee.  He had a radio ministry in Marion in 1953 and in Spruce Pine in 1960.  He passed away on June 7, 1962 at the age of 77.
